This is a VERY nice establishment. the prices are phenomenal and the books are in either New or gently used conditions. there is a wide selection in all genres including many famous and highly acclaimed authors. It is clean and tidy. The gentleman behind the counter is exceptionally kind. Offering my overheated toddler a cold water and applejuice. This is definitely a kid friendly space BUT as with any business you want to keep them with you to respect the space and people in it. It’s a wonderful place! Stop by here before going to Books a Million! you may find the same $27 book for $4 !

This side of the road shop may not look like much from the outside, but as the saying goes: never judge a book by it’s cover. This shop is an absolute treasure trove! From antiques, to mass paper backs, to brand new books, this shop covers history, fiction, mystery, non-fiction, religion, faith, kids, cooking….etc. It is more than worth a stop. We were greatly blessed by not only the books inside, but also by the conversation we had with the owner. I am looking forward to returning and can only highly recommend you make a trip to Always Buying Books.

FAVORITE BOOKSTORE IN TOWN!!!! They have an excellent collection and their books are in great shape!!! They even go out of their way to help you find things. Also, they have the lowest and the fairest prices in town. No one else can compare!

Excellent selection of children’s book. Suggestion- put children’s books in order of authors , series ,or reading levels. A little hard to find books for kids. But still best used books store in the area. Prices are excellent too.

This is my favorite bookstore in southwest Missouri! The pricing and atmosphere are both great and I visit routinely to see what’s new 🖤 the owners are helpful and friendly too!

This place is larger than it looks with a large selection to choose from and the best part is the owners seem like great people very helpful I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone and i will shop this store in the again future and make this my go too Book Store.

Bob sells books and I buy books. It’s important and enjoyable for me to have my own personal reference library. Bob has one, if not the largest collection of used, hard to find, or out of print history books in the region. Stop buy and take a look, you could find something that you’ve been looking for…for a long time!

I have traveled to many book stores in many states and of all varieties of types and no matter what none of them can compare to Always Buying Books. The selection they have exceeds even the larger stores options. Between the new and used options the prices are always competitive. They give you an amazing offer on any books they are able to accept and are always absolutely amazing to work with. I absolutely love the #booktok room and Ameila is extremely knowledgeable on everything in there. The option to be apart of the discord group and get first look and dibs on new books in the store or to request a book to be ordered just for you is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen a store offer. When looking at my book case I can honestly say 90% of it is from ABB. And thats saying something when I have over 600 books. Bob has probably the best crew and all are irreplaceable. But make sure to talk to Alyse shes the real boss 🤣
