I have been in here 3 times now. The first time was on a super busy day, so hard to say then how it was. This past week I went back twice. I was VERY please with the atmosphere, and the pleasant people I came into contact with who worked there, Bob being one of them. I was able to take my time and look through what they had, and the prices were amazing. I am definitely coming here first from now on for my favorite novels.

I have traveled to many book stores in many states and of all varieties of types and no matter what none of them can compare to Always Buying Books. The selection they have exceeds even the larger stores options. Between the new and used options the prices are always competitive. They give you an amazing offer on any books they are able to accept and are always absolutely amazing to work with. I absolutely love the #booktok room and Ameila is extremely knowledgeable on everything in there. The option to be apart of the discord group and get first look and dibs on new books in the store or to request a book to be ordered just for you is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen a store offer. When looking at my book case I can honestly say 90% of it is from ABB. And thats saying something when I have over 600 books. Bob has probably the best crew and all are irreplaceable. But make sure to talk to Alyse shes the real boss 🤣

I love reading. I have a nook, but it’s the same price to purchase books there as it is in person. So Friday I took my sick wee one to check out some books for Momma. We found 3, I finished 600+ pages being sick & taking care of my sweet girl in 2 days! I couldn’t put it down. It felt very good to have a book back in my hands! The service was lovely & friendly & it’s so nice to have a place we don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to enjoy! We will definitely be repeat customers!

This is my favorite place in Joplin! Bob and Elise are just the greatest people ever. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good day there. Also they have such an impressive collection of books (and globes🌏 🙂 Love that place♡

Huge classics section, huge Stephen King section, modern stuff and everything in between. All you could want out of a little bookstore.
